Competition Training & Development
The Problem
Too many athletes have started their careers off incorrectly. Many of them book their own fights, and do not have a solid team of instructors that have the experience to train them properly. As a result, they have sub par records ,inconsistant showings, or lose their motivation to continue. Many school's teams have been suspended due to a lack of proficiency among their athletes, as well as a lack of structure that leads to placing their athletes in an unsafe training environment.
The Solution
At World Class Boxing we solve this problem. We provide a structured program that offers expert instruction, a structured learning environment, and an evaluation system to determine if the athlete is ready for competition physically, and mentally. We provide competent instructors that know how to develop the athlete properly.
The Education of the Athlete
We believe in educating the athlete. The education of the athlete begins before the he or she gets into the ring or cage. Even though the athlete will be constantly learning through competition, he or she should already have a mastery of basic and intermediate training techniques for amateur competition. The athlete should have a solid understanding of the basics, intermediate, and advanced methods of training and safety for competition as a professional.
Topics of mastery for an amateur athlete include , but are not limited to:
1. Offensive & Defensive strategy
2. Proper conditioning methods
3. Proper diet and nutrition that is sports specific to the athlete
4. Basic methods of maintaining and cutting weight appropriately
